Miss Moe Moe Kyi Win
A Ph.D. student of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, conducting research at the Rice Science Center under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwaret Arikit, has received the Global Methane Hub Travel Grant from the Association of Applied Biologists (AAB)
Moe Moe is studying under #ThailandScholarships2022 (cooperation between Kasetsart University and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation) together with a #SEARCA Research Scholarship
Receiving this grant is a proud achievement, as she was selected from student applicants around the world. The grant covers all conference costs, including registration, accommodation and travel, to attend the international conference 23rd International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (ISRFG2026) in London, United Kingdom, on 8–11 September 2026.

She was also selected to give an oral presentation on "Finding genes related to resistance to bacterial leaf streak of rice, caused by Xanthomonas oryzae, using genomics and bioinformatics technology to support breeding disease-resistant rice and sustainable agriculture"
