Invitation to the Meeting “Moving Thailand Forward with Plant Research” 

 

            The National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), together with the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) and the Rice Department, is organizing the meeting “Moving Thailand Forward with Plant Research” on 3–5 April 2017 at the Auditorium, National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Thailand Science Park, Phahonyothin Road, Khlong Nueng, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani. Its objective is to serve as a forum for exchanging and presenting directions for the country's plant research that fit the context of future environmental, economic and social change, and to present approaches and models for personnel development through modern academic learning from research work. It will also present the progress of rice research projects under the Newton Fund, jointly supported by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) of the United Kingdom and NSTDA.
