This meeting is heldto give farmers and members of the public interested in any kind of coconut business an opportunity, from aromatic coconut and mature (cooking) coconut, to farmers already growing coconuts who want ways to increase yield and value professionally. Invited speakers have decades of experience in growing and processing coconut.

Asst. Prof. Prasong Thongyong

 

Developer of the aromatic coconut varieties Rop.1, Rop.2 and Rop.3, and an 81-year-old farmer growing more than 100 rai of aromatic coconut. Ajarn Prasong will give advice on how to start commercial coconut growing and manage it professionally.

Ajarn Preecha Jiaoyu

A farmer growing sugar palms and an entrepreneur processing coconut sugar under the brand Sugar Daddii famous through the TV programs SME Tee Taek (Semi Final round), Tukky Show and most recently Zaap One. Ajarn Preecha's processing adds value to coconut sugar, and he will reveal strategies for adding value to coconut sugar products.

Ms. Korawasa Chamapuwarat  and Mr. Theerawat Nopprapan

are mature coconut growers from Thap Sakae District who have won a national mature coconut contest. Ms. Korawasa and Mr. Theerawat (agricultural officer of Ang Thong Subdistrict) will talk about the origins of success in growing quality mature coconuts in Thap Sakae and professional coconut orchard management.
