Channel 5 Agriculture Community Development Program: Rainbow Rice and the Future of Product Development

On 1 March 2021, the Channel 5 Agriculture Community Development program episode on Rainbow Rice and the future of developing health products from rice leaves. Hear the ideas and background of creating many rice varieties from Prof. Dr. Apichart Vanavichit, the golden-hand rice breeder who created Riceberry rice, as he tours the Rainbow Rice research plots in Chiang Mai and takes viewers through growing 7-color rice to build on developing health products from rice leaves. The Channel 5 Agriculture Community Development program airs on the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Station, Channel 5 (TV5HD1), every Monday to Friday, 11:00–11:30 (the schedule may change somewhat due to the COVID-19 situation). The program offers knowledge on agriculture, the environment, public-benefit work and volunteer work, to be part of sustainable community development, with segments Volunteer Update, Kaset On Tour and Kaset Pha Tham. It is an agricultural variety-style program, easy to watch and understand, packed with knowledge on agriculture and the environment. Hosted by Chatchaya Wiphusanawit (Chat), Phatpicha Methakorncharoen (Tun), Ballang Chanmorakot (Kla) and Ranachat Butsaenkhom (Jack).
