The 6th National Rice Conference
The National Rice Conference is a forum for presenting research and knowledge on rice from government agencies, the private sector and local communities, to build a network of researchers and set the direction of national rice research. In 2025 it was held on 5–6 December 2025, with Kasetsart University's Rice Science Center as main host, together with the network of Thailand's knowledge hub for rice science and research (Hub of Rice), consisting of

under the theme “Rice Changes Ways of Life, Food Changes the World”
The event features a wide range of academic activities, including special lectures and oral and poster presentations of more than 140 research papers covering 10 key research categories, namely
rice genetics and breeding, agricultural adaptation, rice production technology, post-harvest technology, One Health for Thai rice, innovation in rice processing and value addition, community–economy–environment research, and integrated rice protection. There are also research exhibitions and public knowledge communication activities from academics across the country.

“The Future of Thai Rice: Adapting to a Changing Global Context”
to open a space for exchanging views among academics, experts, entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the rice industry from every sector
Thailand Rice Fest 2025 and Thailand Coffee Fest Year End 2025
held on 4–7 December 2025 by Cloud & Ground Co., Ltd., together with

• Rice Department
• The Thai Rice Foundation under the Royal Patronage
• Ministry of Culture
• Kasetsart University
and more than 20 partner organizations, to present products, innovations, food, culture and creativity from Thailand's rice and coffee industries.
All of this year's events emphasize the importance of “rice” as the nation's main economic crop, which plays a role in the way of life, economy and food security of Thailand and is an important part of the global food system. The research and technology shared on this stage are therefore an important mechanism for raising the quality of life of Thai farmers and preparing for future environmental and social challenges.
