This study visit is part of the course Introduction to Entomology, with the objective of letting undergraduate students learn about "post-harvest insect pests", an important factor in rice quality management. A total of 131 students took part in the visit.
On this occasion, the Director of the Rice Science Center assigned Mr. Suriya Phuengbamrung, research assistant at the Rice Science Center, to serve as lecturer and representative to welcome the students and give a talk at the Thanyaosot Rice Mill, rice processing facility building.
The Rice Science Center supports teaching and learning and is an important academic learning resource, to produce graduates with agricultural knowledge and expertise for society.
