Rice Science Center Welcomes the Department of Horticulture for a Study Visit on High-Throughput Technology

On 19 February 2026, the Rice Science Center welcomed faculty and master's students from the Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, for a study visit on high-throughput research technology.

This study visit is part of the course “Research Techniques in Horticulture” (course 02042592) for the second semester of academic year 2025, with 7 master's students enrolled. The Department of Horticulture sees the Rice Science Center as an organization with knowledge and modern research equipment that can effectively support learning and give students direct experience.

The activity was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatchamas Kanchanaudomkarn, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Paweena Chuenwarin as course manager. The students learned an overview of research systems that use advanced technology to collect and analyze large amounts of plant trait data quickly and accurately, an important approach in modern research.

This welcome and knowledge transfer reflects the Rice Science Center's role as a supporter of research and graduate teaching, and promotes integrating advanced technology knowledge into sustainable agricultural research.
