On 19 July 2026, Mr. Suman Hoimala, agricultural officer of the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, welcomed a group of 100 teachers and students from U Thong School, U Thong District, Suphan Buri Province, who came for a study visit and field trip at Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, and the Rice Science Center.
The students listened to a talk on the role and mission of the Rice Science Center, as well as knowledge on rice research and variety development, rice production technology, and applying science and innovation to modern agriculture. The students also visited the rice science laboratories and the center's experimental plots and rice variety demonstration plots to learn about the research and variety development process up close.
This activity is part of promoting learning outside the classroom, giving students real experience in science and agriculture and inspiring them to pursue further study and future careers, linking knowledge from educational institutions to young people and society sustainably.
