On 19 August 2026, the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province, led by Prof. Dr. Apichart Vanavichit of the Rice Science Center and Dr. Watchareewan Jaemboonsri, a researcher from the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), NSTDA, together with the research team, welcomed a research team from BIOTEC and the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences, Plant Sciences (IBG-2), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Apichart Vanavichit presented outstanding rice research, showing the Rice Science Center's potential and readiness to be an international research partner, which will greatly benefit the development of agriculture in both countries.
