Recruitment of a Research Assistant under the project (TOR) bioinformatics work, 1 position

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Plant Science, Data Science or another related field
2. Experience in analyzing omics data, especially in plants, will receive special consideration
3. Eager to learn and able to develop new skills independently
4. Understands and can use statistical data analysis tools such as PCA, clustering, regression and correlation analysis
5. Programming skills in R, Python or other languages related to data analysis
6. Experience or knowledge of machine learning or AI in biology will receive special consideration
7. Analytical thinker who can work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Job description

1. Analyze bioinformatics data such as genomic, transcriptomic, microbiome or other related plant data
2. Apply statistical techniques such as PCA, clustering and correlation to extract insights
3. Develop and use machine learning / AI models for analyzing large-scale data in plant research
4. Write scripts or pipelines for data processing in R, Python or other tools
5. Prepare data analysis reports with summaries and present them to the research team
6. Work with biologists, plant geneticists and data scientists in an integrated research project
7. Perform other duties assigned by the project manager or research team leader
