Recruitment of Research Assistants under the project (TOR) plant breeding work, 2 positions

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agriculture, plant breeding, plant science, biotechnology or a related field
2. Enthusiastic and eager to learn new things
3. Knowledge of agriculture, plant physiology, molecular biology and genetics
4. Able to use MS Office
5. Able to use statistical software
6. Able to communicate in English
7. Able to work on holidays in some cases and to work off-site (may need to stay overnight in other provinces) as the work requires

Job description

1. Plan work, supervise operations, analyze, experiment, test, process data and summarize research results
2. Work on rice improvement, test planting and line selection
3. Carry out rice-related experiments
4. Work in the laboratory and the field
5. Carry out work assigned by supervisors or work managers
6. Promote and disseminate agriculture in various aspects, such as breed improvement, farming improvement, propagation, soil improvement, pest prevention and control, and collection of agricultural statistics
7. Help set up agricultural experimental plots and demonstration plots
