On 1 July 2026 at 13:00 in the meeting room of the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwaret Arikit, Director of the Rice Science Center, welcomed Professor Naoto Kamata from The University of Tokyo, Japan, who came as special lecturer
on the topic “State-space model for time series data analyses”, which drew the interest of faculty, researchers and students filling the meeting room. The lecture focused on applying statistical models to analyze time series data, an important technique that is very useful for developing in-depth research and for data management today. Through exchange of views and questions, participants gained knowledge they can build on in their own research.
