Friday 24 July 2026: The Director of the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, assigned Dr. Anuchat Sawasdee to welcome senior executives and foreign agricultural advisors
led by Mr. Rachan Fakmek, Managing Director of Welbot Co., Ltd., who visited and studied the Rice Science Center's research. This visit followed Welbot Co., Ltd. taking part in the Business Matching and Sourcing Forum organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce.
The company is carrying out an international Precision Agriculture technology development project, with mobile-based farm management and a framework for sustainable rice growing, so it brought a trade delegation to Thailand to survey advanced agricultural technology. It sees the Rice Science Center as an internationally recognized institution, outstanding in rice genomics, rice breeding and innovative science-based agricultural management.
