· 2 min read

The Director of the Rice Science Center assigned Dr. Anuchat Sawasdee, researcher, to welcome and teach second-year undergraduate students from the Department of Irrigation Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus.

The field visits were held on 8 and 10 September 2026, 13:00–14:00, as part of teaching in the course "Irrigation Engineering Measurement Instruments Laboratory" in the current semester, with the following details and objectives. Real field practice: students went into the rice paddy to study and practice gas sampling correctly according to academic principles. Technological extension: students are to understand the process of taking the collected gas samples to be analyzed for greenhouse gas amounts with a gas chromatograph.

This helps students understand the correct working procedure and apply real field experience to their irrigation engineering studies and
