On Friday 11 September 2026, the Director of the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, assigned Dr. Siriphat Ruengphayak and Dr. Anuchat Sawasdee, researchers of the center, to welcome a delegation from the Fund for International Agricultural Research (FIA) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), who visited and discussed approaches to cooperation at the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus.
The visit was led by Mr. Joachim Langbein, project head, and Ms. Dominique Uwira, advisor, from the Fund for International Agricultural Research (FIA), Rural Development and Agriculture Division, together with staff of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), including Mr. Stefan Wenske, integration expert from GIZ, and IRRI Thailand researchers Mr. Vorayuth Pakachaipong and Dr. Acharee Thonglim.
They visited the center's laboratories, talked about technology, and toured experimental plots in the cooperation project between the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), as well as various research experiment plots.
