On 6 May 2026, Prof. Dr. Apichart Vanavichit, Senior Advisor to the Rice Science Center, welcomed a group participating in a visit and research network-building activity from the Coffee Quality Research and Development Center, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai Province, at the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom Province.
The objective of this activity is to promote the exchange of research knowledge and experience and to build academic cooperation among agencies. The event included activities such as a visit to the Rice Science Center, research knowledge exchange, and a coffee workshop, to build an integrated perspective between rice research and other economic crops.
Faculty, researchers and students took part, including representatives from the Coffee Quality Research and Development group and students of the Bioscience program. The activity went smoothly and gave concrete academic benefits.
This activity is another important step in driving cooperation in research and innovation among agencies focused on sustainable agricultural development, through jointly integrating modern knowledge and technology in the future.
