Thailand's agricultural sector and farmers are facing various challenges that will affect their future, including production costs rising compared with neighboring countries, low and volatile farm prices and incomes, new forms of trade barriers, and climate change. In addition, young people do not like to work in agriculture.
.
These challenges will have a major impact, especially on small-scale farmers and highland farmers, who face many limiting factors in farming.
.
You are invited to join the online seminar “Future Scenarios for Thailand's Small-Scale Farmers” on Wednesday 11 May 2022, 12:45–17:30, via Zoom.
