On 24 June 2026, the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, welcomed faculty and researchers from the Chengdu Institute of Biology and the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China, who visited the research laboratories and experimental rice fields, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchawan Chantrasuriyarat of Kasetsart University.
Dr. Jonaliza L. Siangliw, a researcher from BIOTEC-NSTDA, and Dr. Anuchat Sawasdee, a researcher from the Rice Science Center, welcomed them and briefed them on progress in rice research, and took the visitors to see the modern research laboratories, opening opportunities for future rice research cooperation with the Rice Science Center and further strengthening the international research network.
