On 25 August 2026, the Director of the Rice Science Center, Kasetsart University, assigned Mr. Suman Hoimala, agricultural officer, to welcome 11 teachers from Rung Arun School who came to survey the area and study information in advance at the Rice Science Center
to prepare for learning activities in the second semester of academic year 2026 under the integrated unit "Values for Life".
Rung Arun School aims to organize learning that links rice farming with basic subjects, namely Thai, social studies, mathematics and science, so students gain a deep understanding of the development and innovation of rice farming today. The teachers' field survey is therefore very important for gathering scientific knowledge and the systematic rice-growing process.
Mr. Suman Hoimala led the teachers on a survey of the actual area and gave in-depth information, so the teachers can design and plan field learning activities appropriately, which will help share experience and knowledge with students clearly and with maximum efficiency in the future.
The Rice Science Center is an organization with achievements and rice research using modern science and technology that is internationally recognized. The teachers' visit is therefore an important opportunity to take scientific knowledge, innovation and the systematic, internationally standard rice-growing process as basic information for designing and planning activities.
